He did not mention Andy expressly, but if you look for it in his Twitter, you will find the sentence right after his holidays in Ibiza, in which he insinuated it.

I have noticed that I can't access to more pages in his Twitter in which I read the sentence (it was in page n.3). I also noticed there are not other sentences that I read about other things. Maybe he deletes some things that he writes from time to time , probably to avoid speculations. Anyway, I read what I said. Promised. I would never play with something like this.

Not fair. Exactly, it is not fair! About the photos they maximized or reduced them, in fact the photos of baby Andy of my book are more large of those posted by Vicky, for example in that in which Andy is dressed as a little cowboy I can see on a shelf on the television his animals toys and then a decoration of carnival on the wall above of him.

Thanks, Maddy. If I find the sentence again, I will post it here with the exact words that used Simon , but it was something like: "I saw him and I must say I was nice with him"

SPOILER ALERT
By reading further you get a bit of the new material
Ok, the paperback version has arrived, very quickly I must say. And YES there is a new chapter, it is also written on the cover of the book "includes new chapter". It is called "Accountants and Cocaine Don't Mix" and it is placed before the last chapter "Epilogue" which is identical with the previous one, only with the date Ibiza 2009 instead of Ibiza 2008.
In the new chapter he talks about crazy life in the eighties when money and drugs were available and so he writes a long "intro" with stories about him, Robert Palmer, etc., then, before mentioning an encounter he had with Roger some months after the split, he finally gets to the point, and he's most clear about that.
I don't know if I should transcript here some of the lines, but I take the risk. . . . . . . . . (...) Occasionally (like on most days) , I get asked by fans if I would ever consider joining Duran Duran for a third time. Sadly, I don't think there's any likelihood of that and the direction they've taken would not be of my choosing. Aside from anything else, it would mean Nick and I have had more make-ups and break-ups than Liz Taylor and Richard Burton! So there's not a cat in hell's chance - it's over. (...) . . . . . My opinion is that his stance does not surprise me, and I agree with that. Andy is a free man, he doesn't catch up with younger audiences, "hot" producers or anything: he delivers good music.
More than ever I am convinced that he's better off without DD.

that's very interesting, thank you.
I think I must buy the new book too. How many sites are new?
I just took a look at Amazon.de, but I didn't find the new version there. Have you got a link please?

Sad as it is, I think Andy's quite right not to rejoin them cos when they're not playing his sort of music, there would be absolutely no point.
Glad to see he still has a sense of humour. Lol.
Thank you for posting Andrea.

Thanks so much, Twingo! That's a bummer, but Andy's much happier this way, and it's not like there's much left for him to go back to. I think DD are in the early stages of falling apart.
Is the new version available in the US, I wonder? I can't find it on Amazon's US site.

Thank you for posting those words from the book, but then I wonder what am I doing here, if he does not want to come back never egain. I am fighting for an impossible without sense since 3 years ago.
Maybe it is time to open the eyes and to dissapear . I thought I was fighting for something that he wanted. Now I know that was not that way. I am glad for you, Andy, but your decision left me devastated. Who knows?, maybe someday, I will definitively know that he was not booted and he left since he seems so happy this way. At this point of this story, I believe in everything. I just wonder why he did not say this before. What happened to the words like "never say never" and many others?. I start to believe I am a toy in strange hands, and I do not like it. I feel like the ball in a tennis match, and I do not like it. Maybe they (both parts) are enjoying with this "game",but not me.
