Thanks again for all the warm welcomes ;D Ok...the Tony Hadley story... That pic was taken on the last night of what I like to call my "Lost Duranie Long Weekend". 4 shows in 4 cities in 4 nights. The 1st show was the China Club in NYC...it's a small club and the only way in is to win a pass from WPLJ radio...which I did. I was in the front row ;D Sooo...then it was off to Atlantic City where my friend Tammy had won HER local radio station contest (we're real good at that stuff...lol). The prize was "Double Down with Duran Duran...a chance to play blackjack with the band members and the other winners. Right afterwards we had to haul ass to a VIP room where the presentation for the Walk Of Fame plaques was being held (my friend Sarah had organized it...she's the one Andy has his arm around in the top pic). Then to the gig...front row again (VIP package). The next night was Washington DC (front row again/VIP package) and the last night was Philly....where I won the VIP meet and greet. As I was waiting in line to meet the band it occurred to me that I had been there every time they turned around for 4 days....I must look like some psycho-stalker. The band came in and I was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable, so I figured I'd say something clever to lighten things up. I walked up to Andy and Roger and said "You guys again??? I thought it was Spandau Ballet tonite." They both lauged and Roger grabbed my arm and pulled me in-between them (EEK) as he said "Watch it, you". (YES....ice comfortably broken...lol). Andy was smirking and chuckling to himself, but it wasn't until I got the pic from the fan community that I saw he was doing the Tony Hadley pose. And that's the story

I suppose you are talking about Sarah well known as"speedbunny", the owner of Rockaffairs. Indeed I am speaking of Sarah...AKA Speedbunny...AKA Redsexy. I'll mention this board to her, but she seems to be on the road pretty much all the time lately so I don't know how much forum cruising she does these days.

I recognized her in the pic, but I did not know you were her friend. Yup...we had known each other from the message boards/chatrooms for a while but first met in person in Las Vegas on the reunion tour. She's an absolute doll and we've had some wonderful adventures together.
